Also, begin reading about both Karl Marx and Jean Paul Sartre so that you may be prepared to eventually (in the next few weeks) write either a Marxist or Satrean analysis of Pride and Prejudice. If there is another prominent thinker you would like to apply to this task, then please let me know. Due Monday, February 8, 2010: Finish reading "The Rape of the Lock"; Read through Chapter 8 of Pride and Prejudice; Work on your Timeline of English Satire. Due Wednesday, February 10, 2010: Read through Chapter 17 of Pride and Prejudice. Due Thursday, February 11, 2010: Read through Chapter 30 of Pride and Prejudice.
