ELA and ELD: Purposefully exhibit one of the positive attributes listed on the board and be prepared to write about the experience in class on Friday.
Some of those attributes are: creativity, generosity, responsibility, diligence (hard work), tolerance, independence, willingness to strive and bravery.
Further clarification: If you choose "generosity" from the list, do something nice for someone on Thursday, and then be prepared to write about it during class on Friday.
For Monday, September 10, 2007:
ELA and ELD: Perform another positive deed as stated above.
ALSO -
ELA Periods 3 and 4: Complete the two descriptions of yesterday's positive deed -- one in the first person and another in the third person.
For example, for the first-person account, you might begin, "Yesterday, after school, I decided that for my positive deed I would perform an act of generosity..."
Your third person account might begin "Yesterday, after school, Hovik decided that for his positive deed he would perform and act of generosity..."
Make sure your descriptions are each exactly 150 words.
