Due Monday, January 10, 2011

Bring your revised essay, typed in MLA format (for DOUBLE points). The most successful essays will be chosen for the "U of M" Wall, which will be an homage to the University of Minnesota and other marvelous things that start with the letter "m," such as music, movies, maps
(including
metaphoric mind maps), MLA, and more.

Here's how the double points work: if you bring your essay typed in MLA format on Monday (without printing it at school Monday morning) you earn DOUBLE the homework points.

If you need to print it at school because you are not able to print at home or at a relative's home or at a friend's house or at the library or in any another locale, then print it at school on Monday and turn it in on Tuesday for full credit -- just not double credit.

Please do not e-mail me your paper. I do not have the capacity to print it, and I want you to become familiar with all the ways that you can print. I want to make sure that you develop the skills necessary to be successful and competitive in high school, college and beyond.

Late and/or hand-written essays will not be accepted. These essays were written in class, and the only missing component was typing and formatting for which you have Friday - Monday.
